Hey beehiiv team, I’m really excited to be working as an internal tools engineer here!

I’m originally from Del Mar, CA (northern San Diego) but currently live in Los Angeles. I love everything science and hard tech. Specifically math, computer science, and physics.

I always push myself to become the best at whatever I do. I think there are huge rewards that come from focus. All progress can be achieved through a very intense work ethic.

In my free time, I like going to the gym, beach, and reading. I mostly read non-fiction machine learning research and play around with models myself. I really like recreating models from scratch.

I’m a big fan of the machine learning field because it basically has no depth. You can learn everything about machine learning in ~6 months. Literally all of machine learning can be summarized as curve fitting where P>>>1.

In contrast, you can spend 10 years learning physics or math and still barely make any contributions to SOTA.

My favorite ML researcher is Chris Olah ^{_{and basically the whole Anthrophic team.}}

I also love startups and the tech world. I really like Sam Altman & Naval’s writing.

There’s so much to learn, yet so little time.

My goal is to optimize everyone’s output per unit of time. I’m constantly thinking of workflows and tools that will remove busy work and make your job a lot easier!
